Pathwise Sports Inc. ("Pathwise", "we", "us", or "our") operates the Pathwise platform at pathwisesports.com. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data. By accessing or using Pathwise, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
When you create an account via Manus OAuth or other authentication providers, we receive your name and email address. We use this to identify your account, send transactional emails (purchase confirmations, access notifications), and provide customer support.
To generate assessments and recruiting recommendations, we collect information you voluntarily provide about your athlete, including: graduation year, fencing weapon, competitive ranking (JNPL/NAC), academic scores (GPA, SAT/ACT), target schools, and training history. This data is used exclusively to power Pathwise features (GSAI assessments, school matching, AI Coach responses) and is never sold to third parties.
All payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. Pathwise does not store, transmit, or have access to your full credit card number, CVV, or card expiration date. We store only the Stripe Customer ID and transaction reference IDs necessary to verify your purchase and maintain your access rights. Stripe's privacy practices are governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy.
We collect anonymized usage data (pages visited, features used, session duration) to understand how users interact with the platform and improve our product. This data does not identify you personally and is not shared with third-party advertising networks.
Messages you send to the AI Coach are processed by our AI infrastructure to generate responses. Conversation history is stored to provide continuity across sessions. We may review anonymized conversation samples to improve AI response quality. We do not use your conversations to train third-party AI models without your explicit consent.
We use the data we collect for the following purposes:
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
Pathwise integrates with the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

We retain your account data and athlete profile for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with access to purchased features.
If you request account deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., financial records for tax purposes, which are retained for 7 years).
Anonymized, aggregated usage data may be retained indefinitely as it cannot be used to identify you.
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.
Pathwise uses session cookies to maintain your authenticated state. These cookies are essential for the platform to function and cannot be disabled without logging out.

Pathwise is intended for use by parents and guardians of student athletes, not directly by minors. Account creation requires users to be at least 18 years of age. Athlete profile data entered on behalf of a minor is provided by and under the responsibility of the parent or guardian account holder. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, contact us immediately at [email protected].
We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption for all data in transit, secure session management, and access controls for internal systems. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and encourage you to use strong, unique passwords and enable two-factor authentication where available.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email. Your continued use of Pathwise after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
